Beaconsfield will adopt it's capital budget on January 27, 2014

On January 27, 2014 Beaconsfield will adopt it's Capital Budget. This budget is for larger projects that the Mayor and Council would like to see take place over a three year period. It is not part of the regular day to day budget that the council adopts for the basic functions of the city.

In the past, within the capital program we have seen such things as improvements to the Recreation Centre, artificial soccer turfs and a new building at Centenial Hall. The items on the list are traditionally of a high value and are considered possible ideas more than fixed items.

Often in an effort to include input from the residents council will hold public consultations. This year that is not the case and we will all see what is in store for us on the same night that the Capital Program is adopted.

AVIS PUBLIC est donné qu’une séance extraordinaire du Conseil aura lieu à la salle du Conseil le lundi 27 janvier 2014 à 19 h 30 pour l’adoption du programme triennal d’immobilisations 2014-2015- 2016. Lors de cette séance, les délibérations du Conseil et la période de questions porteront exclusivement sur le programme triennal d’immobilisations.

Tous les résidents de la Ville de Beaconsfield sont invités à assister à cette séance.

ADOPTION OF THE THREE-YEAR PROGRAM OF CAPITAL EXPENDITURES

PUBLIC NOTICE is given that a special Council meeting will be held in the Council Chamber on Monday, January 27, 2014, at 7:30 pm for the adoption of the three-year program of capital expenditures for 2014-2015-2016. At that meeting, Council deliberations and the question period will deal exclusively with the three-year program of capital expenditures.

All residents of the City of Beaconsfield are invited to attend that meeting.
