Beaconsfield to impose fines on unreported ash trees.

This global report explains how Beaconsfield will impose a $750.00 fine to those residents who do not report a tree infested with the Emerald Ash Borer. The emerald ash borer itself is difficult to detect not to mention it is very difficult to know which trees are ash.

Several reports on this blog explain the insect and its nature. The ash trees that are infected will die no matter what we do. The innoculation is costly and does not cure the tree.
