Lufa Farms will be offering a Pick-Up-Point in Beaconsfield starting this May. Lufa Farms provides direct-to-members fresh, locally-produced, chemical-free produce and other food products. All proceeds from the pick up will go to the OnRock Food Bank. Lufa farms is a local food engine that sources fresh and responsible food product from local farmers and food artisans. For $30 a week seasonal produce is preselected for each basket, customers can add or remove anything from the order up to 48 hours before delivery. Clients can skip any week’s basket up until midnight before delivery. Orders are submitted by members and the team of Lufa Farms prepare the order or basket from the morning harvest which will be delivered same day. See more about Lufa Farms at www.montreal.lufa.com. Each Friday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Christ Church Beaurepaire (CCB) volunteers will be coordinating the pick up. At this time volunteers are needed and can contact coordinator Angelina Leggo at angelina.leggo@gmail.com .
